ANGELINA JOLIE APPLAUDED FOR SHILOH'S NEW LOOK
ANGELINA JOLIE has been applauded by top parenting experts for letting her daughter SHILOH adopt a new boyish look.
In recent weeks, the three year old has chopped off her long blonde hair and adopted the look of a little boy - and the actress and her partner Brad Pitt have been commended for allowing the tot to show her independence early.
While some have criticised the movie stars for dressing their little girl as a boy, top parenting coach Karen Deerwester - author of The Entitlement-Free Child - tells Life & Style magazine, "Giving preschool-age children the freedom and flexibility to experiment with how they want to be seen in the world is a wonderful gift."
The look might be new but little Shiloh has been keen to adopt a boyish look for some time - Pitt once confessed that his daughter responded only to boys' names: "We've got to call her John." (KL/LS/MT)
