Britney Spears’ conservatorship extended
Britney Spears’ conservatorship has been extended.
The ‘Toxic’ singer’s father Jamie Spears - who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs after her public breakdown in 2008 - will remain in control of her life, a judge has ruled.
Although it is not known how long the conservatorship will remain in place, lawyers involved in the case expect it to last between six and 12 months.
Under the ruling, Britney will pay Jamie $16,000-a-month, while his co-conservator, lawyer Andrew Wallet, received $174,569.10 for his services between July 2009 and November 2009.
