LINDSAY LOHAN FINALLY ADMITS SHE NEEDS HELP
After a nasty public feud with her father, Michael Lohan, and amid reports that she’s abusing drugs and alcohol again, Lindsay Lohan has finally ended up where friends believe she should have been all along — in counseling. “She goes two, sometimes three times a week,” a friend of the star tells Life & Style. “This is not a program or substance-abuse counselor or police officer watching over her; it’s someone to talk to in a confidential state.”
Her friends believe it’s a vital first move. “She knows, and everyone knows, this is a huge stepping-stone for her,” the friend adds. “Get in there, talk to someone, figure out what’s going on and then try to fix it. First comes the diagnosis.” One thing that Linds will undoubtedly be discussing with her therapist is how to repair her damaged family life. “One of the things she’s working on is making more ‘normal’ time with her family,” confirms the friend. “She’ll be home in New York with her mom, Dina, and her siblings for Thanksgiving.”
