The 'Fear' singer - who performed an intimate concert this week where she
demanded fans wore underground station-themed fancy dress - is still
"haunted" by the experience, which saw her recognised by fans.
She said: "Last time I went on the underground was New Year's Eve a year or
two ago. I'm a bit haunted by it now because I was trying to get into the
centre of town to see my boyfriend and I was on my own.
"People started shouting and singing 'Smile' at me and I was in tears, 'Just
leave me alone'. And people were like, 'What the f**k are you doing on the
Tube?'
"I thought, 'You know what, I'm not going to get on the Tube for a while.' "
The outspoken 24-year-old star - who has engaged in a war-of-words with
several stars, including Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole - also said she has
no desire to write a book about her experiences.
She added to Britain's The Times newspaper: "I wouldn't. I think the nature
of these books is, you know, you're f**king people over, and I haven't
really got any interest in making money out of other people's misfortune."
