Jamie Lynn Spears’ boyfriend takes his first steps

Jamie Lynn Spears’ boyfriend has taken his first steps after suffering head
injuries in a car accident.
Casey Aldridge – the father of Jamie’s 10-month-old daughter Maddie – has
been released from intensive care and is walking again, just days after he
crashed his vehicle.
A source said: “He came out of ICU (intensive care unit) and was walking
around twice on Tuesday (28.04.09). He was a little wobbly because that’s
the first time he’s been up since the wreck.”
Doctors at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson hope to
discharge him from hospital over the next few days.
Meanwhile, friends of Jamie Lynn’s say they are pleased with how the ‘Zoey
101’ actress – the sister of pop star Britney Spears - has been coping.
One friend said: “I’ve been very proud of her. I’m really impressed.”
Casey has been charged for careless operation of a motor vehicle after he
crashed his 2008 Ford F-250 following his cousin’s bachelor party.
He drove four friends to Lake Bruin in Tensas Parish, Louisiana, in the
early hours of the morning after they decided to go crabbing.
Three of the passengers – including 20-year-old Casey – were thrown from the
vehicle after he reportedly lost control of the car.
The car turned over several times and it has been claimed only one of the
passengers was wearing a seatbelt.
Casey was rushed to hospital with a fractured skull and was accompanied by
Jamie Lynn in the ambulance.
