Mariska Hargitay to quit her role on Special Victims Unit? Hargitay - who has played detective Olivia Benson since 1999 - is now keen to hang up her TV badge, according to American tabloid the National Enquirer. "Mariska was shooting outside in bone-chilling temperatures in New York City, and her collapsed lung condition … put her back in the hospital," a source told the publication. Hargitay, 45, has made it known she wants out of the series to spend more time with her family. In a recent magazine interview, she said: "I just want to see my kid." |
