Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou held a commitment ceremony in his native Benin, Africa over the summer, Usmgazine.com reports

"The couple is very happy and dedicated to each other one hundred percent," Simmons' rep tells Us.

The source tells Us the couple -- currently expecting their first child together -- went to Africa to meet Hounsou's family and decided to have the traditional ceremony "since they knew it was a special opportunity to all be together."
