Keanu Reeves believes he is "perfect".
The 43-year-old actor - who can soon be seen in sci-fi drama 'The Day the
Earth Stood Still', a remake of the popular 1951 movie of the same name - is
so happy with his film star looks and personality he wouldn't change
anything about himself.
When asked if he would alter anything, Keanu laughingly replied: "No, I'm
perfect!"
Despite his high opinion of himself, Keanu wants to be famous for his acting
and not just be known as a sex symbol.
He said: "I never wanted it to be about me. It has always been about just
losing me and embracing the character."
The Hollywood heartthrob also believes his latest role as half-alien,
half-human Klatu in 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' is his most challenging
to date.
He told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: "I did the film because it's a
worthwhile story to tell. And there is the lure of playing an alien,
although he's not fully alien.
"That was the interesting side of the role. He starts alien and becomes
quite human. The character has the clues - when he's born, the first time he
tries to speak, drinking a glass of water and saying his body is going to
take some getting used to. There was the interesting concept of the
separation of his consciousness and his body."
