Jessica Alba’s family attends her wedding reception
Jessica Alba’s family attended her wedding reception – seven months after she got married.
The ‘Sin City’ star tied the knot with Cash Warren in a secret ceremony in
May this year, but had delayed celebrating their union with family and
friends until now.
One guest at the party, which took place at the couple’s Beverly Hills home,
said: “The party was to celebrate their love and commitment to each other.
“There were no tears, just lots of happiness and love. It felt extremely
special for everyone.”
Both Jessica and Cash made speeches at the reception, with the groom’s
tribute to his wife and six-month-old daughter Honor – who was dressed in a
replica of her mother’s grey dress and fairy wings – said to be particularly
moving.
Following words from the couple’s fathers, guests were entertained by a
mariachi band.
Jessica, 27, and Cash, 31, originally married at the Beverly Hills
Courthouse with no guests present.
A source close to Jessica, who was heavily pregnant when she walked down the
aisle, said: "Jessica and Cash's ceremony surprised even good friends. She
used to feel it would be OK to wait until after the baby was born to get
married but her traditional side must have really kicked in.
"Cash is a wonderful guy and she really does love him."
Jessica’s dad Mark spoke of his happiness for his daughter, saying: "I think
it is good news for her. I'm glad for her. She's a beautiful girl. I'm her
dad and I'm happy for her no matter what happens."
Jessica and Cash met in 2004 when he was the assistant to the director on
her movie ‘Fantastic Four’.
