Amy Winehouse is “addicted” to a bizarre UK TV game show.
The ‘Rehab’ singer is obsessed with watching BBC programme ‘Hole In The
Wall’, which sees two teams of celebrities contort their bodies to fit
through strange shapes cut into a giant foam wall. If they can’t get
through, they are plunged into a pool of freezing water.
A source said: “Amy is addicted to ‘Hole In The Wall’. She reckons it’s the
greatest TV show she’s seen in years. Obviously, this year she hasn’t had
the busiest work schedule so she has spent a lot of time in front of the
TV.”
The 25-year-old drug-addicted singer loves the costumes contestants wear –
skin-tight silver bodysuits – and has even asked producers if she can appear
on it.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “She has asked producers to
star in an episode, they’re giving it some thought but are understandably in
two minds as to whether she is the right person for prime-time viewing.”
Amy is not the first star to reveal a penchant for a BBC show this week.
Robbie Williams has revealed he is desperate to compete in ‘Strictly Come
Dancing’ – Britain's equivalent of US series 'Dancing With The Stars' – even
though he doesn’t know the show’s proper name.
He said: “You can expect me on 'Celebrity Come Dancing' towards the end of
summer next year."
