I never thought I'd give The Chin props for anything, but here goes: She actually looks good lately. Really. Could she finally be growing into her lanky, masculine frame?

Maybe it's the soft auburn curls, so much softer and kinder to her big bones than those nasty butch cuts and the dime-store dye jobs and wigs. The hair is just the right length to flatter; any longer and it would look fake.

Or could it be the dress, gracefully framing her pasty skin (or is it just reflecting it, like the sun and a mirror). Even Rumer's usual slit to the navel neckline isn't so in-your-face with this dress. As long as you don't look at her feet you could really believe there's a girl in there.

Does this mark a change for Rumer? She seems like she's trying so hard. Maybe someday we can look at her and not think of Mr. Potato Head.
