Geri Halliwell is “desperate” to get George Clooney and Brad Pitt to star in
her new film.
The former Spice Girl has revealed her plans to cast the Hollywood
heartthrobs in the upcoming animated adaptation of her children’s books
‘Ugenia Lavender’.
She said: “I have not met Brad Pitt so realistically he’s unlikely to take
part but I am desperate to get the gorgeous George on board.
“I’ve got an actor character called Bradley Litt and a Dr. Clooney who
delivers Ugenia’s baby sister in a store called Garrods. Hmm, I wonder who
and what these could be based on?!”
The ambitious 36-year-old star – who plans to voice the lead character
Ugenia herself and is also penning an original Hollywood screenplay – also
said she is keen to get British soccer star Wayne Rooney involved in her new
project.
She added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Crazy Trevor, Ugenia’s
friend in the series, reminds me a lot of Wayne Rooney in both looks and
personality.
“I am really hopeful he will agree to voice the part. I get the impression
he’d be up for doing it just for fun.”
Geri added: “George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Wayne Rooney – how’s that for an
A-list line-up?!”
