TEEN VOGUE’S ANNUAL YOUNG HOLLYWOOD ISSUE CELEBRATES TOMORROW’S BRIGHTEST STARS

Johnny Simmons: This January, Johnny teams up with Emma Roberts in Hotel for Dogs. After that, he’s set to star in Jennifer’s Body alongside Mamma Mia’s Amanda Seyfried and Transformers vixen Megan Fox.

Elle Fanning: She may still be known as Dakota Fanning’s little sister, but this year Elle will make a name all her own as she takes to the big-screen in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.

Haley Bennett: Known for her breakout performance in Music and Lyrics, Haley kicks off the fall with her brand-new film College. Next she’ll star alongside Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford in The Haunting of Molly Hartley, and play Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston’s neighbor in Marley & Me.

Luke Grimes: Luke stars with O.C. alum Mischa Barton in the upcoming “film noir–style” movie, Assassination of a High School President. You can also check him out in the thriller, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane.

Selena Gomez: Disney darling Selena Gomez stars in the smash hit show, Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena will follow-up on her small-screen success with the TV musical Another Cinderella Story and her own record deal. On top of all of that, she’s set to star alongside fellow teen-wonder Demi Lovato in next year’s Princess Protection Program.

Jennifer Lawrence: After a starring role on TBS’s smash sitcom, The Bill Engvall Show, Jennifer Lawrence is destined for the movies. Watch out for her performance in the upcoming indie flicks The Poker House and The Burning Plain - where she’ll star opposite Charlize Theron.

The Boys of 90210: Michael Steger, Dustin Milligan, Tristan Wilds, and Ryan Eggold heat up Beverly Hills in the CW’s 90210.

Harry Treadaway: Harry’s already achieved idol status across the pond, but he’s set to gain more admirers when he appears in the adventure-packed City of Ember alongside Tim Robbins and Saoirse Ronan (of Atonement fame).

Matthew Beard: Look for Matthew as he stars with Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy in Hippie Hippie Shake. You can also catch him in the Nick Hornby-penned film An Education.

Kaya Scodelario: This British beauty plays Effy on the U.K.’s gritty teenage drama, Skins. Hailed as even more “intense and realistic” than Gossip Girl, Skins is now airing on BBC America.

Olly Alexander: This busy young actor has a long list of films in the works. Be sure to catch him in 2009’s Bright Star with Abbie Cornish; the thriller Enter the Void; indie horror flick The Tormented, and the post-apocalyptic drama, Dust.

Juliette Lamboley: Hailing from France, Juliette earned rave reviews for her work in 15 ans et Demi. Her next major film, Mes Stars et Moi, places her alongside French screen legend Catherine Deneuve.

Mia Wasikowska: Mia’s recently been awarded the coveted role of Alice in Tim Burton’s 3-D film, Alice in Wonderland. But if you can’t hold out until 2010 to catch her in action, Mia will be appearing in the upcoming drama Amelia with Hilary Swank, and the holocaust drama Defiance co-starring Daniel Craig.

Imogen Poots: Best known for her work in the zombie thriller 28 Weeks Later, Imogen teams up with High School Musical heartthrob Zac Efron in the buzzed-about film Me and Orson Welles.

Kimberley Nixon: Kimberley hits the big screen as Emma Roberts’s new best friend in the “boarding school” flick Wild Child. Kimberly’s talents have also cast her alongside Harry Potter veteran Rupert Grint in the rock ‘n’ roll-fueled film Cherry Bomb, and won her the part of Colin Firth’s daughter in the period drama Easy Virtue. This month Kimberly takes to the stage as the lead in London’s West End adaptation of the hit film, Girl with a Pearl Earring.

Eleanor Tomlinson: Eleanor once shared the big screen with Edward Norton in The Illusionist. Now you can catch her in the recently released teen comedy, Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. This best selling book turned feature film is already being touted as the next Mean Girls.
