Chris Baker, Travis Barker’s assistant Who Died In Crash, Remembered By His Family

Chris Baker, Travis Barker’s assistant and one of four people killed in a plane crash on Sept. 19 that critically injured Travis and DJ AM, is being remembered through a memorial outside the West Third St. studio in LA where Chris, Travis and DJ AM spent many hours collaborating and hanging out.

"A lot of Travis and DJ’s friends were close to Chris, and they feel awful about what happened,” a close friend tells Life & Style. “They’re leaving flowers, candles and personal notes for Chris. They want his wife and family to know that people are thinking of him."

Chris, 29, died in the horrific plane crash in Columbia, S.C.

"Since the news broke, a lot of people are also leaving notes and burning candles for Travis and DJ,” adds the friend. “They want them to know that they’re in their prayers, and they’re hoping they get better soon. There have been a lot of people stopping by to mourn Chris and to stop and think of Travis and DJ."

Although seriously burned, DJ AM and Travis are both expected to recover fully; they’re being treated in Augusta, Ga., at the Joseph Still Burn Center.
