ANDREW FIRESTONE DIDN’T KNOW JEN SCHEFFT WAS ENGAGED!
Ex-Bachelor Andrew Firestone was as shocked as anyone to learn that his ex-fiancée Jen Schefft, 32, recently got engaged. "She did? Good for her," Andrew, 33, exclusively told Life & Style at the grand reopening of the Four Seasons’ Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club Resort in Santa Barbara, Calif. "I couldn't be happier for her."
Andrew, who recently announced that he and his wife, Ivana Bozilovic, are expecting a baby, obviously doesn't talk much to his ex. "I don't know how I would have heard," he said. "I didn't know, but it’s fantastic. I wish her all the best."
As the third Bachelor on the famous ABC reality series, Andrew chose Jen from 25 bachelorettes and proposed to her. The couple decided to go their separate ways in December 2003.
But right now, Andrew’s focused on his new job: being a dad! "I'm probably going to be either extremely lenient or extremely strict, depending on the sex of the baby," he said. "My daughter won't see the light of day until she's 26. My son will have the run of the house!"
