Miley Cyrus reveals she is angry on "7 Things."

"The word 'hate' could describe how angry I am," Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest Wednesday on his KIIS-FM radio show, PEOPLE reports.

The song, Cyrus ticks off a list of things she hates in a boy she loves.

"[It goes] through all the different stages of what's been going on the past couple years," she said. "It was like a little therapy moment for me."

Asked if worried about possibly offending a former boyfriend.

"I want them to be upset. That was my point," she said. "I was a little worried, but I'm excited that I just did it."
