Duffy says Sir Mick Jagger is still sexy.
Duffy - real name Aimee Anne Duffy – discovered The Rolling Stones as a
child by watching her dad’s old video tapes of 60s TV show ‘Ready Steady
Go’, and she still has a soft spot for the rock legend.
Duffy said: “He is sexy, charismatic, bluesy - he’s got it all, even now.
‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’ was the first music I can remember, from a video tape
my dad had.”
The ‘Mercy’ singer also admits she had no idea how old the video was that
she was watching, and thought she had made an amazing discovery of a
little-known new band.
She added: “Of course, no one told me, as a six-year-old, that they weren’t
current. I thought I’d found the most important thing in music – some
obscure band nobody knew.”
