Simon Cowell hates watching himself on TV
Simon Cowell hates watching himself on TV.
The ‘American Idol’ judge finds it difficult to witness his nasty on-screen
remarks to wannabe pop stars.
After watching a montage of his scathing comments, Simon said: “That was
harshly edited, but I must admit watching myself back I hated myself.”
However, Simon insists his nasty persona is necessary because it stops
talentless hopefuls pursuing a career in the music industry.
He added to US TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “This is just the way the
music business is. When you’re performing in front of 25 to 30 million
people and you’re not making the effort to make your self into a star I
don’t think you’re doing yourself any favors so that’s why I said it.”
