Michael J. Fox says his naturally positive personality has helped him cope with Parkinson's Disease, which he has battled since 1991, NOW reports.

Speaking to Extra on the tenth anniversary of going public with his illness, he said: "A lot of people with Parkinson's have clinical depression and it's difficult for them to deal with what they're dealing with, plus to have the added baggage of depression...

"I haven't had that issue. I've been able to stay involved in life and I think that keeps me feeling good."
