Lindsay Lohan has just gone public about her "special friendship" with lesbian DJ/musician Samantha Ronson.

The pair, showed off their love on P Diddy's yacht.

"Lindsay and Sam may insist they're just good friends - but there's no denying their chemistry," says a Mirror spy.

"They were holding hands quite openly and Sam was stroking Lindsay's wrist really affectionately.

"After partying on the main deck, they went downstairs to the chillout floor. Escorted by five security men - who formed a 'do not disturb' ring around them - it looked like they were snogging each other's faces off."

Lindsay and Samantha, 30, had begun their evening in Cannes' trendy VIP club, dancing with Diddy's gang, before adjourning to the rapper's four-storey superyacht, the Maraya.
