The ‘With You’ singer – who is currently dating American football star Tony Romo – was said to be devastated when the couple went public with their romance.
The blonde beauty, her best friend Cacee Cobb and Cacee’s boyfriend Donald Faison reportedly spent four hours drinking at California’s Mexicali Cocina Cantina restaurant, according to Perez Hilton.
At the end of the session, Jessica was said to be so drunk she had to call her mother Tina to pick her up and drive her home.
Jessica split from John last summer and friends say she took the break-up hard.
One pal said at the time: "She keeps getting crushes on the kind of guys who will let her down. That triggers her cravings. She usually gives in to them at bedtime. When she is at a hotel, she will often order a plate of French fries as a late-night snack. She knows it isn't healthy, but she doesn't have a lot of willpower right now."
John and Jennifer began dating last month and were recently photographed on holiday together.
