Singer Ashlee Simpson has sparked fears she's become a plastic surgery addict — at 23, NW reports

The troubled star stunned onlookers as she hit the shops in LA, her distorted facial features causing a storm of controversy.

"Her face looked bizarrely lopsided and swollen," says one onlooker. "She was trying to cover up her puffy cheeks with her hair, but it was all too obvious something was wrong."
