Would you wear them? More importantly, could you? They don't look particularly comfortable, and I would imagine anyone wearing such oddities while out clubbing would be taking a header before the first buy-back. You'd be shocked at their price ... but maybe not at who's already bought them.
Featured in Britain's Daily Mail, these heel-less platforms were created by British designer Antonio Berardi, they come in gold or silver snakeskin and cost about $3,600 (give or take; currency exchange is not my strong suit).

As for who's crazy enough to buy them, Victoria Beckham has a pair. Well, of course she does! She's got more money than she can possibly ever spend, and she ran out of practical purchases at least five years ago. If it's expensive and new, she's buying it. Gwyneth Paltrow and Uma Thurman have also invested in a cheaper black patent version.
You don't see anyone out walking around in them, though. And if you look at the model's feet in the photos, they are red and look irritated, to say the least. I bet her arches were absolutely shredded after a few minutes in those.
What's next? Shirts with sleeves but no head-holes? If it's ridiculously ugly and exorbitantly priced it will be a hit with the idle rich.
