David Beckham is desperate for a baby girl and is secretly hoping they have twins when they start trying after the Spice Girls tour finishes in March.

For the first time since their third child Cruz was born in February 2005, Victoria, 33, has put on weight and David's delighted about his wife's new fuller figure, NOW reports.

'Since she's started eating more regularly and exercising, her sex drive has gone through the roof,' a relative tells Now.

'It means they're having lots of sex and with Victoria now at a healthy weight there's a greater chance that she'll fall pregnant. David didn't really ask for a Christmas present. All he wants is a baby girl.'
