Amy Winehouse was arrested, questioned and released on bail by police
The troubled singer was arrested after voluntarily turning herself into Shoreditch police station, in London's Hackney, in connection with the investigation into her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's charge of perverting the course of justice.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "A 24-year-old woman has been bailed to return to an east London police station on a date in early March pending further inquiries."
Amy's father Mitch added: "Amy's arrest has been planned for the past three weeks so it's nothing new to any of us. She was asked to attend the police station to be questioned and have her DNA taken to assist them with the investigation into Blake's charges. My main concern is my daughter's welfare. She has family with her and is perfectly fine helping the police."
