Mary-Louise Parker proved she could handle being a single mom three years ago when she gave birth to her son Will shortly after her boyfriend Billy Crudup left her for Claire Danes. Now Parker has added another member to her brood.

People magazine reports that the 43-year-old "Weeds" star has adopted a baby girl from Africa. An insider told the magazine, "Mary-Louise is such an incredible mom. She couldn't be happier about this."

Parker has not yet confirmed the adoption and so the child's name is not yet known. Parker and her daughter were spotted out in Los Angeles over the weekend.
