It looks like Nicole Richie really is pregnant. Numerous gossip sources have “confirmed� the news and Us Weekly has made Richie’s pregnancy their cover story this week. Now we’ll just have to wait and see if Nicole will make the official announcement at her DUI trial scheduled for next week.

According to In Touch Weekly, Nicole had a reason for staying mum about the baby so far. An insider told the magazine, "Nicole didn't want to tell anyone until she was past three months. She really kept the news from everyone." Us Weekly reports that Richie only leaked the news to her mother and close friends like Mischa Barton after she learned she was expecting from a pregnancy test.

A source for Us said, “[Nicole] is extremely excited right now.� She has plenty to be excited about as the latest rumor is that her boyfriend, Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, has proposed. Us claims that Joel and his brother Benji recently went ring shopping. In Touch’s source said Nicole and Joel are "getting married this summer.�

Donald Horne, whose band Guttermouth played with Good Charlotte last month, told In Touch, "[Joel] kept talking about his fiancée...He was talking about looking to settle down someplace nice and start a family.�
