MEL B HIRES SUPER CELEB LAWYER

Eddie Murphy better get his checkbook ready. Mel be was spotted leaving a posh LA eatery after lunching with none other than celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred. Mel B has pinned down the lawyer extraordinaire to take "Eddie Murphy to the cleaners," reports British newspaper The Sun.

Celebrity news website, TMZ.com, posted pictures of the two leaving an LA restaurant over the weekend. Mel B. looked fabulous in a top worthy of an award for maximizing cleavage.

Allred has had her share of high profile cases, and when it comes to defending women's rights - she goes for blood! She represented Amber Frey in the criminal case against Scott Peterson. She coined the term "gender apartheid" when she took the Boy Scouts to court for no allowing girls.

She first made a name for herself when she sued the then male-only posh Jonathan club. The club denied rejecting a woman's membership based solely on her sex but Allred was able to prove it in court.

She's also a famous critic of Michael Jackson and adamantly protested his right to child rearing by writing a letter to California's Child Protective Services asking for an investigation into the safety of Jacko's children.

Victoria Beckham better mind her bank statement, too. Mel B is clearly charting a path to acquiring the title of the most posh Spice Girl.
