Stacy “Fergie� Ferguson didn’t know much about Josh Duhamel when she guest-starred on his show Las Vegas in 2004. “All my friends knew about him because he had been a soap-opera star. I’m not into soap operas,� says the Black Eyed Peas singer. But she admits, “I had read in a magazine that he had a naughty dream about me.� So when they first met, the 32-year-old told Josh, “I read you had a dream about me. He said, ‘Yeah,’ and I asked, was it good? He said it was. So we hit it off!� The couple have been dating ever since. Says Josh, 34, “We truly love each other.�

Kate Hudson’s You, Me and Dupree character wasn’t crazy about Owen Wilson’s on-screen alter ego, but, when the cameras weren’t rolling, the duo got along famously. “I had a crush on her,� admits Owen, 38. “You kind of can’t help it. She’s hot, has a great sense of humor and is just plain cool.� A few months after filming ended, Kate, 28, announced she was splitting from her husband of five-and-a-half years, Chris Robinson, but denied Owen had anything to do with it. Still, the new couple were soon spotted frolicking on a Hawaiian beach together. “The two of them together seem to make sense,� says Owen’s brother Luke. “They get along great and really click.�

A year before she started dating Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes told Seventeen magazine, “Every little girl dreams about her wedding. I used to think I was going to marry Tom Cruise!� The 28-yearold’s dream came true when she wed Tom in front of 150 guests at the Odescalchi Castle in Lake Bracciano, Italy, last November. Now happily married and the parents of daughter Suri, 13 months, it’s Tom’s turn to live his dream. “She likes all the stuff that I love to do, she’s funny and smart,� says the 44-year-old. “This woman is magnificent.�

Tori Spelling played the virginal Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210 in the ’90s, and teenage girls everywhere idolized her. But she had another huge fan — her future husband Dean McDermott. “I’ve had a crush on her ever since 90210,� admits Dean, 40, who finally met Tori when they co-starred in the 2006 TV movie Mind Over Murder. Luckily for him, the feelings were mutual. “I am on cloud nine 24 hours a day,� says Tori, 34.

5. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

When Marc Anthony filmed his video “No Me Conoces� in 1999 with up-and-coming star Jennifer Lopez, he was instantly smitten. “I absolutely fell in love with her,� Marc, 38, said at the time. “She has a friend in me for the rest of her life.� Since then, J. Lo and Marc always stayed connected, even through her tumultuous relationships with Sean “Diddy� Combs, dancer Cris Judd and Ben Affleck. Five months after Jennifer ended her engagement to Ben in June 2004, J. Lo and Marc married in Beverly Hills. “My husband is from my culture, from my background, and he totally understands me,� Jennifer, 37, says. “He is the first person to give me total confidence.�

When Jenny McCarthy was single last year, In Touch asked her if she was involved with Jim Carrey. Her reply? “I wish!� The 34-year-old’s dream came true when the two started dating in December and fell in love. “He is an amazing person,� says Jenny. “I’m happy.� But there’s more to their relationship than just cracking each other up — Jim and Jenny both have one child from a previous marriage and have no intention of tying the knot again. “We’re never getting married, but we’re never getting divorced, which is fantastic,� says Jim, 45. “We’re both on the same path, so it’s really real.�

When Arrested Development’s Will Arnett took a date to see the New York improv troupe Upright Citizens Brigade in 1996, he never expected to meet his future wife — SNL’s Amy Poehler. “She was fantastic and obviously really cute,� Will, 37, says. Clearly, he couldn’t hide his feelings. “My then-girlfriend was like, ‘You have a crush on that girl!’� But it took the comedians another four years before they met through friends and three more before they tied the knot in August 2003. “We’re happy just to spend time together,� says Amy, 35. “You can have a lot of adventures if you have someone by your side.�

She admits her attraction to Johnny was instantaneous, too: “He never left my thoughts.�

When Michael Douglas first met Catherine Zeta-Jones at a 1999 film festival, he had something very important to tell her. “I want to be the father of your children,� he reportedly said on their first date. Seems she made quite an impression on Michael, 62, when she appeared in a corset in The Mask of Zorro. “Michael saw me in it and seduced me!� reveals Catherine, 37. “He followed me around the world until he found me.� It was a good call on Michael’s part — the happy couple have been married for six years and have two children.

When she first met Mark Consuelos on the set of All My Children in 1995, Kelly Ripa couldn’t believe her eyes. “I fell so hard for him so quickly,� says the 36-year-old. “But I had big Coke bottle rollers in my hair and an enormous pimple on my chin, so I was intimidated by the fact that he was much prettier than I was!� Mark was too focused on his audition to pay much attention to her, but it didn’t take Kelly too long to land her dream guy — they were married a year after meeting in Las Vegas. And while Mark, 36, wouldn’t recommend hooking up with a co-worker, he admits, “Obviously, it worked for us.�
