"The Simple Life" beauty Paris Hilton is "distraught and traumatized" and "fears incarceration" after a judge sentenced her to 45 days in jail reports US Magazine.
The shocking claims were made by Paris Hilton's psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy.
Dr. Charles Sophy gave those findings in a Los Angeles Superior Court document filed Monday in an ongoing $10 million slander and libel suit against Hilton by actress Zeta Graff.
Sophy insists Paris needs to recover from the shock of receiving a 45-day
jail sentence, after violating her probation by driving with a suspended
licence.
The psychiatric report said: "Given Miss Hilton's current psychological and
emotional state she is not capable of any meaningful participation in a
trial.
"She is emotionally distraught and traumatized as a consequence of the
findings at the May 4 hearing, the jail sentence imposed upon her by the
judge, and her fear of incarceration."

Papers filed by Paris' lawyers reveal the 26-year-old has received treatment
from Sophy for eight months, and has visited the psychiatrist several times
since her probation violation hearing.
The slander and libel suit, filed against Paris by actress Zeta Graff, is
due to begin on May 21.
Graff claims she was falsely accused by Paris of stalking the socialite and
her ex-lover Paris Latsis - who Graff previously dated. Graff has accused
Paris of spreading "vicious lies" about her which appeared in the New York
Post newspaper in July 2005.
A representative for Paris has declined to comment on the psychiatric
report.
Meanwhile, Candy Spelling, the mother of "Tori & Dean: Inn Love" star Tori Spelling, has penned a letter to Paris Hilton, the New York Post reports.
Hilton, she wrote, "can get away with more bad behavior and excuses than most people could even imagine."
"Paris, I'm very worried about you," Spelling wrote on celebrity Web site TMZ.com. "As the real possibility of jail approaches -- whether it's 21 days or 45 days or whatever the latest report is -- it's time to get real."
Spelling added that it's time for the reality television celebrity, who faces jail time for driving infractions, to find a balance between "'heiress' and a character on 'The Simple Life.'"
