Mary-Kate Olsen's skinny crisis
A painfully thin Mary-Kate Olsen has sparked fears that she's suffered a relapse of an eating disorder reports Woman's Day. The 20-year-old actress horrified onlookers with her skeletal frame as she shopped in Beverly Hills, with one witness telling Woman's Day, "She just didn't look healthy. Her bones were sticking out." Friends of the pint-sized star, who stands 5 1' and weighs just 84lbs, fear that her turbulent relationship with boyfriend Max Snow, 21, has sent Mary-Kate on a downward spiral. "She's not at her strongest emotionally right now, and it's taking a physical toll," says a friend. "Her way of dealing with stress is not to eat. It's a coping mechanism." It appears Mary-Kate's current weight is just slightly above the 35kg she reportedly weighed before seeking treatment in 2004. However Mary-Kate refuses to believe that she's too skinny. "Even when Ashley asks if she's lost weight, Mary-Kate acts offended," says the friend. And just last week Mary-Kate told reporters she feels "sexy". "She just doesn't seem to see what everyone else does," explains the friend Meanwhile, the former Full House star will join the cast of Showtime's comedy series Weeds when the series returns for its third season. Showtime says Olsen will be featured in 10 of the series' 15 episodes this season. She'll play Tara, a new love interest for Silas (Hunter Parrish). "Weeds isn't your eight-o'clock family fare," said Jenji Kohan, the show's creator and executive producer. "She came in and read with Hunter and was absolutely charming and real and seemed like a great fit. Audiences have seen only one side of Mary-Kate, but here we'll see her in a whole new light." Weeds returns Aug. 13. |

She's perfectly fine! Would she get a gig on a hit tv show if she were sick? Producers require medical checkups now. She must be healthy and drug free or they wouldnt of signed her would they? Out of all the actresses they could get for that role, why would they sign her if she were as sick as the tabloids say? They don't need the trouble.
People don't know the difference between being skinny and being anorexic. She's an actress for God's sake, they're expected to be rail thin. How is she different than any other actress? The problem is she's so tiny in the first place that it accentuates her skinniness making people think she's sick. She's not!
I don't know what "friends" of hers your talking to but they're not very good ones to betray her by talking crap about her to reporters behind her back.
