Larry Birkhead will not share legal custody

"It would imply that I'm unfit as a parent, which I'm not. I'm looking
forward to giving Dannielynn everything that she needs and all the love and
support."
Howard K. Stern - who was named as Dannielynn's father on her birth
certificate - said he was "disappointed" by the DNA results but will support
Birkhead in any custody battle.
Stern revealed: "I'm obviously very disappointed, but my feelings for
Dannielynn have not changed. I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure
Birkhead gets sole custody."

Birkhead, who claims he was in a relationship with Anna Nicole until May
2006 when she was five months pregnant, has been seeking custody of
Dannielynn for months.

After the DNA results , ACCESS HOLLYWOOD correspondent Tony Potts had a one-on-one interview with Larry Birkhead in the Bahamas.

(TP): What a great day, just couldn’t have come out any better.

(LB): I know, 99.999 (%).

(TP): So you’re standing there, and they’re getting ready to read it, what’s going through your mind?

(LB): I just sit there and at first he said my middle name, he said ‘the father is…’ and then my middle name and I was like ‘wait a second’ and then he corrected himself; and I have the paper which I’ll frame. You couldn’t get a closer match than the match that was made. It was just amazing; it was just like this incredible feeling that all of this has been worth every ounce of the energy and then some that I put into it and just to know that nobody can challenge that anymore and that’s in writing and in paper is just like one of the most valuable pieces of paper that I’ve ever received.

(TP): What will it be like tonight or tomorrow when you finally hold Danilynn? When you look at her little eyes and she looks at you?

(LB): It’s just going to be like magic, you know, I didn’t sleep at all last night. I tossed and turned, and just having this weight off my shoulders and the fight that I’ve been through since long ago, it just means the world to me and just to start the bonding process that I haven’t been able to do and try to play catch up. I’m sure I’ll have many sleepless nights, but in a good way.

Dannielynn could inherit an estimated £240 million fortune from the estate
of Anna Nicole's late oil tycoon husband J. Howard Marshall, depending on a
forthcoming court ruling.
Anna Nicole had been fighting Marshall's family for his estate since his
death in 1995 and the battle is yet to be resolved.
The former Playboy model died on February 8, aged just 39, from an
accidental drugs overdose.
