Two women claim Lindsay Lohan almost killed them with her car
Two women claim Lindsay Lohan almost killed them with her car., after a night of hard partying reports NW Magazine. Since leaving the Wonderland rehab facility in LA last month following treatment for alcohol abuse, Lindsay Lohan has been a regular at her old haunts. Her antics at pre- and post-Oscars parties have many thinking she left Wonderland far too soon. The "Rumors" singer recently revealed to British newspaper News Of The World that checking herself into rehab saved her life. "I was really sick. I went to the hospital and had people sit me down who said, 'You are going to die if you don't take care of yourself.' I heeded what they were telling me." There have been numerous reports of Lindsay drinking, including claims the 20-year-old was spotted stumbling out of the Vanity Fair Oscars bash and heading straight to another party thrown by Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell. The wasted actress was overheard telling worried pals, "Oh my God, I've got the shakes. It won't stop." And it seems Lindsay is back to her man-eating ways. "[Lindsay was] leaning over the table and talking to Jude all night," says an eyewitness. "Everyone was like, 'They are so f**king tonight.'" Now, Ellen Morrissey says Lindsay almost killed her and her teenage daughter Erin, with the pair forced to leap out of the way of the star's Mercedes-Benz. The mum says she and her daughter approached the celeb for an autograph when they spotted her outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at 2.30am. But it soon became apparent the actress, who was waiting for the valet to bring her car, had been drinking. "Lindsay was holding a glass of clear liquid with a wedge of lemon in it, and she seemed to slur when she spoke," says Ellen. "She also appeared to stagger to her car." Adds 13-year-old Erin, "I have never been around anyone who reeked so much of alcohol." Lindsay then got in the driver's seat, not noticing the two fans in her path. "She almost killed us," alleges Ellen. "All I could think was that she was going to kill someone or herself - or both." |
