Two time Oscar winner Hilary Swank has always been hush hush about her romance with John Campisi, her longtime CAA talent agent. The couple who were first spotted looking extra close in March 2006 (just 2 months after the star split from husband Chad Lowe) may be ready to go public with their romance in a big way- by making it legal. “John and Hilary are very close because he nurtures her and lets her be herself,� says a source. “She liked being a married woman, so that she could be around the corner!� And there may be more than marriage. Hilary has said she “definitely would like kids someday…when the time is right.� Although Hilary, 32, won’t be free to marry until her divorce is finalalized, she and John have certainly been acting like newlyweds!
Jenny & Jim: Need Daughter’s Blessing Funny guy Jim Carrey recently made headlines when he said he has no intention of ever marrying girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, 34. But Star has learned that it’s actually his daughter, Jane, 19, who may be against the nuptials! “It’s not that she has anything against Jenny,� a friend tells Star. Rather, the doting daughter believes that after two failed marriages and suffering bouts of depression Jim, 45, is in no condition to deal with another messy divorce, sources say.
Kimora & Djimon Get Cozy! African born hunk Djimon Hounsou, 42, may not have won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for hi s work in Blood Diamond, but he certainly won the affections of soon to be divorced designer Kimora Lee Simmons, 31. The two reportedly spent the night of Feb. 27 locking lips at a birthday party for best Actor Forest Whitaker. And on March 1, the new couple was spotted at Hollywood hotspot Winston’s dancing, kissing and buying Patron tequila shots for the crowd.
Will Lost’s Dominic Really Get The Ax? The death of Dominic Monaghan’s character, Charlie, has been foreseen by Desmond, a mythical fellow castaway on recent episodes, fans haven’t been convinced the show’s brass would really kill off one of the original cast members. A show source now tells Star that insiders are predicting that Dominic really will meet his demise in the May season-three finale, scheduled to be shot in late March. “It’s become obvious they needed to shake the show up,� the source says. “Lost has lost a lot of its buzz.� Killing off Dominic could throw a wrench into his cozy romance with co-star Evangeline Lilly, whom he’s been dating for about two years—and even plans to marry this fall, a source tells Star. “It would certainly make their relationship tougher,� the source says. “I don’t think Evangeline would be pleased if they singled out he boyfriend to take a bullet for the team.�
Is Elisabeth Quitting Over Rosie? Rosie O’Donnell may have pushed Elisabeth Hasselbeck too far this time. They argued on the Feb. 28 episode of The View over Elisabeth’s support for the government’s right to wiretap phone calls—leading Rosie to later backtrack on her blog for calling Elisabeth’s comments “ignorant.� But sources tell the New York Post: “Elisabeth just can’t take it any more� and she’s looking for way to leave. |
