Success, Joss Stone's Revenge?

British beauty, Joss Stone's third album, Introducing Joss Stone, could top this week Billboard 200 chart. With 50% of the counting done, Stone has sold a reported 71,000 copies.

Introducing Joss Stone was released on March 20th on Virgin Records.

The CD is an electrifying mix of warm vintage soul, ’70s-style R&B, Motown girl-group harmonies, and hip-hop grooves, the album is the one that Stone describes as “truly me. That’s why I’m calling it Introducing Joss Stone,� she says. “These are my words, and this is who I am as an artist.�

A high debut could be a shock to music gossips after her horrid sales in the UK.

In other news, Joss Stone has a crush on Jared Leto - only to discover the actor has never
heard of her.

The British singer has revealed she has not been on a date in months since
her heartbreaking split from boyfriend Beau Dozier, but admits she has the
hots for Jared.

Joss told a US TV show: "I think he's simply gorgeous, so sexy. He would be
my ideal date."

However, Jared - who previously dated Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz and has
been linked with Scarlett Johansson - told friends he has no idea who the
19-year-old singer is.

Joss split from producer Beau 18 months ago. She said their split was a
source of inspiration for her latest album 'Introducing Joss Stone',
released earlier this year.

Joss was heavily criticized for speaking with a 'fake' American accent at
the BRIT Awards in February.
