Wannabe hip hop star Kevin Federline visited out-of-control superstar Britney Spears for the second time.

According to Usmagazine.com , Britney had a chance to see her babies during the visit. Spears' mother Lynne Spears arrived first in a separate car five minutes ahead of a Black Navigator containing her grandsons.

Two hours later, Lynne, Sean Preston and Jayden James departed separately again with Lynne off to the Spears family house and the boys back to Kevin Federline's home in Tarzana.

Over the weekend, in a 60-minute heart-to-heart the warring couple wept and hugged as Kevin Federline promised: "I'll stand by you if you clean up your act. I just want you to get well."

Kevin's change of heart occurred after he visited her at the Promises Clinic in Malibu, California, where she checked in for the third time in a week on Thursday.

The increasingly paranoid star was pictured shuffling around the grounds there, haggard and lost, wearing a scruffy blue hoodie and sucking on cigarettes.

The pal said: "Just a few days ago there was no love lost between the two of them, but it's taken Britney's breakdown to make Kevin realise that he still loves her. He's finally treating her with a bit of care for once. He told her he'll stand by her while she's recovering - but he doesn't want to put her under any pressure until she's got her life back together.

"And he admitted he's been having second thoughts about the split and thinks there may be hope of a reunion after she gets better.

"Britney told him that she just wants to take things one day at a time at the moment, but she was deeply comforted by his words."

Her secret pills suicide threat came last Sunday, shortly after she was snatched to safety while wandering in and out of traffic near her Malibu beachfront home.

A friend told the News of the World: "Britney was crying and said she would kill herself if she lost the boys. She had two bottles of Tylenol in front of her and just wanted the madness to end.

"She held up the painkillers and shouted, ‘I'm gonna do this, this is it! I'm through with the whole f***ing circus.' Luckily a female friend was with her and managed to talk her out of it."

Now she is on suicide watch in rehab and anxious aides have reserved a bed in a psychiatric ward at a top medical center in case she decides to walk out of the clinic again.

The pal revealed: "This is rock bottom-this is as low as Britney can go. We're just terrified of what might happen next."
The singer’s manager, Larry Rudolph, shot down rumors that his client is on suicide watch. “The story is absolutely untrue,� he told Extra on Friday.

“She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better.�

When Britney checked into rehab for the second time on Tuesday, staff at the clinic suspected her of concealing a small stash of COCAINE in her suitcase.

What they did discover was a hand-written list detailing people Britney would like to see DEAD. They included Federline and a selection of American paparazzi.

The pal added: "When the staff confronted her she just burst into tears. She was crying uncontrollably - she's now such a broken woman.

"They had to strip search her afterwards to make sure she didn't have drugs on her body. Then the list was quietly disposed of.

"Britney just turns this stuff over and over in her mind."

Britney Spears' father, who had urged his daughter to get help during an intimate dinner last weekend, told FOX News on Thursday that the troubled singer is "a sick little girl ... we're just trying to take care of her and other than that I have no comment."

Jamie Spears, 54, added that his daughter’s problems are "not about what other people think."
