Katie Holmes Loves Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise’s production company is hard at work on its newest movie, but Tom’s wife may want him to have nothing to do with it reports Star Magazine. The film, a supernatural thrilled called The Eye, stars Jessica Alba! “I wonder if Katie’s jealous of Jessica and a little threatened by her,� a source tells Star. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Tom had a crush on Jessica before Katie ever came onto the scene. He’s always admired her good looks and fantastic physique.�

Reports in 2005, claimed that reports Tom Cruise tried to woo Jessica Alba - before settling on Katie as his bride.

“In fact, Tom wanted to cast Jessica in Mission Impossible III, but it didn’t work out,� says a source. “Now that he’s going to be working with her, Katie might get very uncomfortable.� So uncomfortable that, as filming began earlier this month in Albuquerque, N.M., she told Tom about her fears. “Tom assured her that his relationship with Jessica was all business. She could fly to the set anytime she wants. It’s just a movie,� says the source. “But I think Katie might still be steamed about it.�

In other news, Viacom boss Sumner Redstone has offered an olive branch to Tom Cruise--despite dumping the actor from his Paramount-branded studios six months ago.

Cruise was fired from the company after concerns were raised about his outspoken beliefs and sofa-jumping antics on The Oprah Winfrey Show last year, but Redstone admits he would be willing to work with the star again in the future.

He says, "We had to do the best thing for Viacom. The company was disturbed by Tom's then behavior, which has now changed.

"I would probably work with Tom in the future but not immediately."
