Angelina Jolie vows to marry boyfriend Brad Pitt?

Angelina Jolie has allegedly vowed to marry boyfriend Brad Pitt, after making a promise to her dying mother.

Marcheline Bertrand, who lost her lengthy battle with cancer on January 27, was with
Angelina and her partner Brad Pitt when she passed away aged 56 on Saturday
(27.01.07) at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Angelina dashed from New Orleans to be with her mother when she heard her
condition had worsened.
She arrived at her mother's bedside in Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center at 4pm on Saturday (27.01.07), four hours before Marcheline died at
8pm.

It was revealed earlier this week that Marcheline died happy in the
knowledge her daughter had finally found love and stability.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Everybody cried. Marcheline told Angelina
and Brad that she loved them. It was incredibly emotional.

"Marcheline approved of their relationship completely and Brad loved her."
When Angelina's daughter Shiloh was born last year, Marcheline said: "My heart is overflowing with joy with the new arrival of
Brad and Shiloh'

Gossips claim Jolie made the marriage pledge hours before her beloved mother's passing, sparking speculation of a marriage within months.

A source close to the family tells British newspaper the Sunday Express, "Marcheline held Angie's hand and told her, 'You marry that man. He's an angel sent to look after you.' "Marcheline almost looked on him as a son. She thought the world of him and was constantly nagging Angie to 'wed that man'."

The friend adds, "Brad has never stopped trying to push (Jolie) down the aisle but she's always resisted, saying that it's the children who legally bind them together.

"Now she'll make good on her death bed promise."
