Madonna is to release a new album this year.
The singer’s producer Stuart Price has revealed the pair are currently
working on a new record and has promised fans it will herald a “new sound
for Madonna.
Price - who masterminded her last LP ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’ which
was both a critical and commercial success – has also revealed that the duo
have enlisted the services of some of the biggest names in music.
He said: “We have been working with some of the top producers that are in
fashion right now.
Although Price is refusing to divulge the names, rumors are rife that both
Timbaland and Pharrell Williams could be among the collaborators.
In other news, Madonna says she has adjusted to having a third child, David Banda, whom she adopted in October reports People.
Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie, who married in 2000, have a 6-year-old son, Rocco. Madonna 48, also has a daughter, Lourdes, 10, from a previous relationship.
"I can get my older daughter to babysit for me," she said. "Both kids are really great with him."
Madonna also talked about Britney Spears, Madonna says the two have not been in touch since then. "We just worked together at that period of time," she said. "We shared a kiss, and I never saw her again." She also joked, "That's how it is, I guess."
"I wouldn't say we're the best of friends." Because they live so far apart- Madonna in London and Spears in Los Angeles - and because Spears got married and had two children after her appearance with Madonna at the VMAs, "We just drifted apart," said Madonna. "It was nothing intentional."
