Jermaine and Janet: Finally Tying the Knot?

After 5 years of dating, Janet Jackson revealed to Star at her Sept. 30th CD release party that she plans to marry long time beau and music exec Jermaine Dupri. The couple met in 1991, when Dupri was backstage at one of Janet’s Rhythm Nation tour, but have only been official since 2001

. Janet says that this is the first time Dupri has talked about “having a wedding,� and Janet couldn’t be more thrilled. This will be the songstress’s third marriage, she previously wed to Dancer-songwriter Rene Elizondo and before that singer James DeBarge. But this time, Jackson hopes it will be for keeps, because the recently slimmed down singer says she “would love to have a family some day.� Looks like Jermaine’s the lucky guy, whenever he’s ready to pop the question.
