Ashlee Simpson laughs at Nick Carter's sex claim

Ashlee Simpson says Nick Carter's claims that he slept with her are
"laughable".
The singer-and-actress - who is currently appearing in 'Chicago' in London -
insists the Backstreet Boys singer, who this week claimed he had bedded
Ashlee to get back at his ex Paris Hilton, is lying.
When asked about the claims, she scoffed: "No, it's not true. That is so
random. When I heard that, I was dying laughing."

Nick claimed he was determined to bed Ashlee after discovering Paris had
cheated on him with 'One Tree Hill' star Chad Michael Murray.
He said: "I'd fallen head over heels with this chick. Then, all of a sudden,
three months go by and I got people telling me, 'Nick, you know what Paris
is doing to you', and I got a little upset.
"So then I just decided to fight back a little bit and started doing my own
thing again. The result is I hooked up with Ashlee Simpson. When Paris came
back from Australia, they talked to each other and she found out about it."
He added: "I had started to really like Ashlee and I was thinking about the
dating stage. Before you know it f***ing b***h-face comes back."

After Ashlee's slam, Nick Carter apologized to singer.

The ‘Backstreet Boys’ singer called ‘American Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest’s Los Angeles radio show on Thursday, Oct 5, to tender a public apology to Simpson, after his brother Aaron let the cat out of the bag.

Carter told Seacrest that he never meant "to throw her under the bus in the whole entire situation".

He insisted that though he had wanted to keep the whole affair under wraps, he was sorry that his younger brother blurted it out.

"This was one of those things that I wanted to keep under wraps... and then my brother kind of let the cat out of the bag," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
