Timberlake to host MTV Europe Awards
When Justin Timberlake’s debut album, “Justified� cooled down, the singer took some time away from the spotlight to focus on his acting career. Now that he’s back with “FutrueSex/LoveSounds,� Timberlake is everywhere. Justin has agreed to host the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards, to be hosted by Justin Timberlake on Nov. 2 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Nelly Furtado and the rock group Muse will serve as co-hosts. Image Popsugar Red Hot Chili Peppers lead the pack with four nominations, including best album, best rock and best group. Madonna, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West and Muse followed up with three nods. The show will be broadcast in 17 countries and will take place in two different venues. Copenhagen’s Bella Center convention hall and City Hall Square will both be used during the show so that MTV can "bring more people to it," said MTV Europe's Simon Guild.
