Tension rises on "The View"
You’d think that the departure of Star Jones from “The View would have given the show a more relaxed atmosphere. Sources, however, are reporting that the tension on the set is just as high as ever as Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar struggle to relate to their conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Joy, in particular, is not able to handle Elisabeth’s outspoken Republican politics. An insider told the National Enquirer, "Joy thinks Elisabeth's a phony. She says it makes her sick to watch Elisabeth get on her soapbox. Joy makes fun of her behind her back, sticking her finger down her throat like she's retching!" Another source close to Behar claims she said, "Barbara likes [Elizabeth], but if it was up to me, I'd vote her off 'The View.'" Elisabeth is not oblivious to the stress her beliefs have been stirring up. A spy on the show told the New York Daily News that since Rosie has joined the cast, "[Elisabeth] is crying every day. No one can control Rosie, and Elisabeth can't contain her feelings. She gets so upset all the time." O’Donnell’s rep denied the claims that there is bad blood between her client and Hasselbeck, stating, "Elisabeth was at Rosie's house this weekend with her daughter, Grace. They might not agree on politics, but that's what makes the show great. Ratings are up 59%." |

You know......what did they think Rosie would do? Sit there with her legs crossed and just speak when spoken to? C'mon, she had her own talk show for 6 years, she's loud and opinionated, I don't care how offensive she is, I still prefer her 100% over Star. The only people who watch the View are people who don't work, unless they have Tivo......most people I know work! So, on that note......it's really not a big deal to me-
