Mariah Carey upsets lambs

Mariah Carey angered fans last weekend at a concert in Connecticut, by playing for less than an hour reports Digital Spy.

The singer was onstage for 75 minutes, but spent at least 15 of those minutes backstage for costume changes.

The punters at the concert paid up to $160 (£89) to attend, and all paid at least the price of the cheapest tickets at $90 (£50). Carey left the stage with fans expecting an encore, but she never returned.

One fan present at the gig said: "Mariah barely played for an hour. We are demanding a refund! Everyone in the audience was so mad. She cut songs out of the show and was just not into it at all." Another added: "I don't even think she was on for more than 45 minutes. I've never seen anyone suck as bad in concert and just not care."

son.
The singer received a eight-carat, flawless diamond necklace and matching
ring from Prince Azim just as she was about to go on stage in New York last
Wednesday (23.08.06).
The 24-year-old prince is third in line to the Sultinate and his father is
worth a whopping £25 billion.
His representative told Mariah: "We were sent by private jet to deliver this
gift."
The singer was so delighted to be performing in her hometown that she
splashed out £30,000 on Cristal champagne for friends and family at the
show, which took place in Madison Square Gardens.
Mariah made sure her 150 guests enjoyed themselves, although she could only
drink wine.
The 36-year-old singer is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as
saying: "Champagne's bad for my voice so I can't have any on tour. I am
sleeping 15 hours a day in a room full of humidifiers and am on total voice
rest between shows - I'm not even supposed to speak."
Mariah is currently on the US leg of her 'Adventures of Mimi' tour, but will
start filming her new movie and begin work on her new album at the end of
the year.
