Aaron Carter proposes to Kari Ann Peniche

Pop star Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, proposed to his girlfriend Kari Ann Peniche in Las Vegas, a source tells UsWeekly.

The 18-year-old singer proposed to Kari Ann Peniche onstage in Las Vegas on Saturday (16.09.06), in
front of an audience of 200 people.
Peniche gushed: "I'm very excited about it. Aaron is the most genuine person
I know. He's kind, loving, and I love him so much."
The 22-year-old beauty confessed she was left absolutely stunned by Carter's
surprise declaration of love, made during the Playboy's Hollywood Comedy
Tour show at the Palms Casino Resort.
She added: "I don't remember it happening. It was such a blur. I had no idea
he was going to do this, but I'm glad he did."
The happy couple plan to tie the knot in six months time.
However, the groom-to-be's father Bob Carter says he has been left
completely in the dark about the pending nuptials.
He is quoted by the Eonline! website as saying: "I heard he got married,
then I heard he got engaged. I don't have a clue.
"The couple just started dating. Even my daughters don't know what's going
on."
The bride-to-be was crowned Miss Teen USA in 2003, but she was later

Carter will soon be seen in E! reality show 'House of Carters', with his
brother Nick and three sisters.
