Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro headed for Splitsville

Two years ago when MTV chronicled Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro’s wedding preparations, the couple seemed blissfully happy. As they posed naked for morgue-themed invitations, Carmen and Dave looked like the perfect couple. These days, however, it appears their union is doomed. A source for Star magazine claims that their marriage may end any day now.

The insider revealed, "[Carmen and Dave’s relationship is] not going to last the summer. They've really been separate for some time now, but it looks like they're going to let it fester for a while before they finally call it quits."

Star highlights the events of Dave’s birthday earlier this month as evidence that Electra and Navarro are on the rocks. While Carmen did attend Dave’s band’s performance that night, she skipped his birthday party after the show.

The source for Star claims that sort of distance is typical in this stage of the couple’s marriage. "Since March, they've hardly been together at all. She's traveling all the time and doesn't even bother to tell him her schedule,� the insider says. “Dave's pissed off, and the stress of seeing the marriage going downhill must be breaking him apart. I think one of the reasons she's working so hard is she doesn't want to face the fact that her marriage is over. Bottom line is that the thrill is gone."
