If the photographers would move out of her way, and let her be a mom, these things wouldn't happen. Give her room to move and be a mum, stop following her around all the tikme, your not helping here

If she knew how to be a better mom, these things wouldn't happen. This article fails to mention what Britney said after all this. "This is why I need a gun".

Come ON haven't you people tripped before holding your kid? I am sure a lot of stars in this buz (esepcailly after having kids) want a gun too because of the people try to hurt them! I don't agree with brit on her carseat issues, but this, this is innocent. Gosh could you imagen if there was a tabloid in your home all the time, I bet many of us would be blasted as bad parents!!!!!

Britneys pants are WAY too long, she's wearing heels AND is balancing a drink in her other hand.
Come one people, don't be idiotic, everyone would trip like that.
Good for the kid that there were actually other people about or this episode might have ended badly for him.
What Britney lacks is COMMON SENSE...!!!!

Britney Spears needs a visit from DSS again. That baby is in danger with that girl!

Oh, please. She did nothing wrong ... I am no Spears fan, BUT, the carseat photo is not an issue. Read the law and understand its scope and intention. I would imagine that millions of mothers do things more egregious every day - fortunately for all of us there are not cameras recording our every move. Stumble with a baby in your arms? Oh sure, not one other mother has EVER done that! Drink? Who knows what was in that glass? I don't, do you? The "driving with child on her lap" faux pas was wrong - if she was "driving", but not too many years ago EVERYONE did it! But, what about when there were NO carseats? Let alone backseat, frontseat, front facing, back facing laws, rules and carseat/airbag manufacture's (CYA)suggestions. Infants were left to lay without any restraint. I think her child is pretty safe in that carseat ... it doesn't appear that she was traveling 65 MPH on the freeway now, does it? "Unsafe" appears to fit the photographer! Was he in a tree in her driveway, or what? I applaud that she takes her baby with her instead of leaving him home for hours, days or weeks with "paid parents" as other "celebs" do. He appears to be thriving, alert and cared for very well. Would that all the babies in this country were thus, comparably speaking! Direct your ire where it is needed.

I know from being a parent of two, that it is not commen sense or parenting skills that could cause something like this, it is just human error. Look, it happens, get over it. The baby was not hurt, and I think this poor girl has been drug into the dirt enough. She already know everyone is watching her just waiting for her to make another mistake, and that on top of all the flashing cameras and people shouting her name while trying to carry a baby could make anyone almost have an accident. I don't like the girl, and I think she has made some major mistakes, but you can tell by her expression and her eyes that she is scared to death, and very rightfully so. I can't help but want to give her a big hug and tell her we all make little mistakes like this, and it does not make her a bad mother. But, she does need to learn from these past mistakes and try and better herself. The poor girl....cut her some slack!

Britney is just sooo dumb!LET GO OF THE DRINK AND HOLD THAT BABY RIGHT!!

I have walked with crowds of people on all sides while holding my infant son and I have never had any accidents. Maybe if she would have let go of the damn drink she wouldn't be crying out of guilt. She messes up and expects people to feel sorry for her. How many accidents can one person have? The kid isn't even a year old yet. She needs to grow up.

Give the girl a BREAK!!! I suppose everyone else out there is a "perfect" mother besides her??? If having your every move with your children scrutinized...every mother at one point or another would be blasted about being a "bad" parent. Grant it, the car/car seat incident is decidedly in poor judgment, but enough already!!!
Britney...not every part of being a mother is innate...I wish you the best...

I am a 30 year old mother of one and I want to say "Britney please keep your head up. I feel for you. It is ridiculous what Britney has to go though everyday. I dont care if she is a celebrity. She is a singer. It is not anyone's place to judge her and if you do then you better make sure you are flawless because if you are not may God help you. To judge is to be judge so be very careful. Britney you are a beautiful, talented, young women and you keep being the best mom you can be.

doesnt look to me like that baby was about falling.
people should just mind their own business

Ok I don't like the person she's become now, and marrying a goof ball like k-fed, what was she thinking. Ok maybe she wasn't,but who am I to judge. I could care less for her,at the same time I feel for her. She's always under surveillance. Everybody is watching her every move. Let the girl breath and be a mom for christ sake. As far as the car incident ,yeah that wasn't very smart of her, considering that a lot of celebs get into fender benders trying to escape the paparazzi..All in all, Britney, hang in there, stay focused and do something about K-Fed. Don't woory soon this will all be over..

Tripping could have happened with any mother. That happens, but the car incident she should have know better. The media should just leave her alone.

I agree, poor Britney. Everyone should back off.
