Nicole wants to get re-engaged

If you’re addicted to paparazzi pics, you’ve probably seen the steamy ones of Nicole Richie and Adam Goldstein on vacation in Mexico last week. Adam and Nicole called off their engagement last December, but since getting back together, these two are back to their frisky PDA-loving ways.

A source tells the magazine that Nicole has realized that "Adam is a keeper, and she's not going to make the same mistake twice. Settling down with him is about all she has on her mind these days. She's looking for a sense of permanence in her life, and Adam is her life preserver when things get to be too much." Says Star magazine, Nicole is anxious for Adam to propose again. She’s even been telling her pals that she suspects she’ll marry her DJ by the end of the year. Adam, however, isn’t so gung-ho about getting re-engaged. The source says, "He loves Nicole with all of his heart, but during their previous relationship she turned into a ball of rage. She was taking it out on her friends and was inundated with talk about all the weight that she had lost."

We’re betting that Nicole will win Adam over in the end. How could he not be smitten when she treats him to special nights like this past Saturday? Nicole threw Adam a surprise party at Pure in Las Vegas to celebrate his 33rd birthday. 100 of his friends, including Avril Lavigne, showed up for the event that featured Goldstein’s idol, DJ Jazzy Jeff. "Having never seen a set by Jazzy, AM became extremely excited, hugging and kissing Nicole, who stood by his side the entire evening," a source told Daily Dish.
