Britney Spears wants to focus on her acting career.
The pop babe - who put her music career on hold after marrying Kevin
Federline and having baby son Sean Preston - is said to be desperate to
become a TV star.
The 24-year-old - who received mixed reviews for her performance in 2002
movie 'Crossroads' - caught the acting bug after guest-starring in US sitcom
'Will and Grace' earlier this year.
A source told America's In Touch Weekly magazine show bosses were
"pleasantly surprised" by the singer's acting talents.
The insider also claims the programme's co-creator, Max Mutchnick, is now
planning to offer Britney a role in one of his other shows.
Meanwhile, it's been revealed Britney is losing her sex appeal.
The star is set to drop out of the British FHM's 100 sexiest women list, to
be published in the magazine later this year.
Readers of the publication have so far put Welsh singer Charlotte Church,
actress Kate Beckinsale and Tom Cruise's pregnant fiancée Katie Holmes ahead
of the 2004 winner.
