What's up with Nick and Kristin?

Are Nick Lachey and Kristin Cavalleri hooking up or aren’t they? And, as an aside, is her name Cavalleri or Cavallari? We’ve seen it spelled both ways. Anyway, earlier this week, the 19-year-old “Laguna Beach� beauty insisted that she and Nick are not dating. She told People magazine, “There’s nothing to talk about, there's nothing going on. He's a nice guy, but I'd have to say we're just friends.� But apparently that’s not the story she told a friend of hers.

Late last month, Kristin and Nick met up at The Lobby in LA. The rumored lovebirds snuck out of the bar and that’s when the fun began. A source close to Cavalleri gave Star magazine the dirty details about the rendezvous. "The next day, Kristin told me they went back to his room at the W Hotel. She was gushing, saying, 'We made out the whole night and slept in the same bed, but kept our clothes on. We just kissed. He was really sweet.'"

This pair won’t be able to keep denying their romance if Nick keeps visiting Kristin at her condo in Marina del Ray like he did on February 21. Despite the denials they’ve been issuing, these two can’t seem to get enough of each other. They have Nick’s friend, USC quarterback Matt Leinart, to thank. He introduced them.
